Our Mission

Access and Equity

Education is a human right, and together we must work towards an equitable and accessible system of education.

Not every student benefits from the same educational experience. In fact, every learner has their own unique educational journey. We generally understand and accept that, for example, a student in a special education classroom may need more structure and support than another student, but we forget that students with outside stressors may need this additional support, as well.

There are students who worry about the health of an ill loved one, who worry about whether or not there will be food on the table for dinner, who worry about getting to their job after school, etc. Education is a human right, and together we must work towards an equitable and accessible system of education.

No solution is perfect, but I founded TriTogether because the above bothered me. I was lucky enough to always have the necessary support to get me to where I am now, emotionally, physically, and academically. As the owner of TriTutoring LLC, I see students every day who need help with homework, SAT prep, college essays, or staying organized. The students we see are lucky to have this access, and I want to do something to work towards a more accessible education system. This is something I deeply believe in.

For this reason, TriTogether will work to offer free tutoring services for students whose circumstances have previously made tutoring inaccessible.

Worrying about family, worrying about where you’ll be sleeping, worrying about the constant change… this all affects the educational journey. Together, we can take this small step towards a more equitable system.

The learning triangle

“Tri” comes from the learning triangle Hannah developed while tutoring: student effort, fundamentals, and strategies. All three are harder to keep steady in stressful times, which is why we come together to learn.

Effort

We meet students where they are and help them build the steady habits that make learning stick - even when life is anything but steady.

Fundamentals

We focus on the core skills a student missed during absences or transitions, so the gaps close instead of compounding.

Strategies

We teach the how of learning: organizing work, preparing for tests, and asking for help, so progress outlasts any single session.

Be part of the triangle.

Whether you tutor, donate, or refer a student, you help keep learning within reach.
